From wild, frizzy hair to sleek pixie cuts, Emma Watson can just about pull off any look, but when celebrities make drastic style changes, theres undoubtedly going to be a lot of reaction about it, both positive and negative.

E! Online reported that when the 21-year-old chopped off her long, luscious locks after wrapping up filming on the last Harry Potter film in 2010, her new look was the talk of the town and continues to remain a trending topic.

In an interview with the UKs Independent, Watson talks about her famous do and the weird rumors that it created.

"I had journalists asking me if [my haircut] meant I was coming out, if I was a lesbian now," she told the newspaper, rolling her eyes.

That haircut did make me realize how subjective everyone's opinion is. Some people were crazy for it and some people just thought I'd lost my s--t."

But the ever-sophisticated Brit that she is, Watson took all the press with a grain of salt and just focused on herself.

"All I can do is follow my instincts because I'll never please everyone," she said.

Watson added that her haircut helps her feel more liberated.

"As I've got older, and since I cut all my hair off, I've felt a bit more liberated about trying different things out," she said.

Cant wait to see what else you have up your sleeves!
