Emma Watson's Short Hair Started Lesbian Rumors Plus Other Celebs Who Rock the Pixie Haircut

Emma Watson rocks a short pixie cut!

Apparently if you cut your hair into a pixie cut, it means you're possibly a lesbian, at least according to some journalists who questioned Emma Watson's sexuality after she cut her hair off in 2010. Regarding her haircut, the actress told The Independent "I had journalists asking me if this meant I was coming out, if I was a lesbian now. That haircut did make me realise how subjective everyone's opinion is. Some people were crazy for it and some people just thought I'd lost my sh**. All I can do is follow my instincts, because I'll never please everyone." The cut looks beautiful on her and she's not the only lady in the entertainment industry who's sported the pixie cut.

Rihanna

Back in 2008 and 2009, the songstress sported several versions of a pixie haircut that showed off her fantastic bone structure. At the 2011 America Country Music Awards, she also showed up to perform sporting a pixie haircut in a bright red shade.

Ginnifer Goodwin

The "Once Upon a Time" actress chopped off her hair in early 2011 and has kept it short ever since. She likes the ability to do what she wants with her hair so much that she has a wig clause in each of her contracts, which means she can do what she wants with her hair in real life but has no problem wearing a wig on set.

Halle Berry

Considered by many to be one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood, the actress chopped off her long locks in the late 90s and then again in 2009. To keep her style in top shape, she sometimes has to get her hair cut every ten days.

Michelle Williams

The blonde beauty hasn't had long hair since 2006 and it wasn't until 2011 that fans discovered the reasoning behind her short cut. During an interview with British Elle , she explained " 'I cut it for the one straight man who has ever liked short hair and I wear it in memorial of somebody who really loved it." Michelle also explained how her daughter, Matilda, would like her mom to grow out her hair, but she says 'I've really grown into it - I feel like myself with short hair."
