Emma Watson featured in The Bling Ring new pic

PanARMENIAN.Net - Emma Watson is shown holding a gun in new preview pictures of The Bling Ring, Digital Spy said.

The actress stars as Nicki in Sofia Coppola's new movie, which is based on the true story of the Hollywood Hills Burglar Bunch.

The criminals stole from celebrities including Orlando Bloom, Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan and were later jailed for their actions.

"When I read the script and I realised that essentially it was a meditation on fame and what it's become to our society, I had to do it," Watson said of her role.

"The character is everything that I felt strongly against - she's superficial, materialistic, vain, amoral. She's all of these things and I realised that I hated her."

The Bling Ring will be released on June 14 in the US and July 5 in the UK.
