Fake feelings: Emma Watson revealed she had a false idea of what love should be
Emma Watson has grown into quite a pin up, but the movie beauty never quite knew what real love was like until she found it.
The Harry Potter star missed out on the learning curve every teenager goes through due to her hectic filming schedule and living life constantly in the spotlight.
Emma, 22, admitted that she originally had a very pessimistic view of love because of her love of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet.
She told the Daily Mirror: 'Shakespeare said the course of true love never did run smooth and I had a sense it had to be painful.'
The young star believed that love was meant to be painful and full of cliched heartbreak and angst.
After learning to love herself and feel good in her own skin, she was finally able to find the right person to be with.
Emma also got a helping hand in growing up emotionally from working on her current movie The Perks Of Being A Wallflower.

The film is a coming-of-age story based on the best selling novel by Stephen Chbosky, and sees Emma star alongside! Logan Lerman (3:10 to Yuma) and Ezra Miller (We Need to Talk About Kevin) in the story of an introvert freshman who is taken under the wings of two seniors.
Emma plays the role of Sam, Patrick's (played by Miller) free-spirited step-sister, whom Charlie (played by Lerman) falls for.
She told the newspaper: 'This film felt like an accelerated adolescence for me because in a seven-week span I got to experience everything I missed growing up.'

The co-stars all shared interconnecting rooms at the Crowne Plaza Hotel and spent their evenings hanging out and causing mischief.
She said: 'By the end of the movie I was deliriously exhausted because wed stay up all night playing guitar and running around the hotel and causing carnage.'
Her crash course in love is good news for current boyfriend Will Adamowicz, who she met when studying at Oxford University.
The loved up couple have been enjoying spending time together in between Emma's work commitments and they will be reunited fully when she returns for her final term in Rhode Island after Christmas.
