Emma Watson Vs. Selena Gomez: Who Will Be the Better Criminal?

Emma set to play in the next Disney- knockoff?

Emma Watson and Selena Gomez are trying to leave their wizarding days behind by turning to a life of crime.

The stars of "Wizards of Waverly Place" and the "Harry Potter" movies both want to show the world that they can be successful beyond their child actor days, and what better way to do that than by becoming criminals?

In "Spring Breakers" Selena plays a member of a group of girls who rob a restaurant to fund their Spring Break trip, while Emma stars as one of the teens who rob celebrity homes in "The Bling Ring," which is based on a true story. So with both good girls going bad, who will be the better criminal? Here's a look at how Emma and Selena's characters stack up against each other based on what we know so far:

Their Fashion Choices

Every photo from the set of "Spring Breakers" seems to show Selena and her costars in teeny bikinis. However, recent snapshots from the set of "The Bling Ring" show Emma prancing around in extremely small cutoffs; high heels; a top that is little more than a star-studded bra; and a leather jacket. Emma also had a rather large tramp stamp painted on her back for her role, so the tattoo helps her win this round. Her character also gets bonus points because her clothes were probably stolen from the closet of Paris Hilton or Lindsay Lohan.

Their Method of Making Money

In "The Bling Ring" Emma's character has to be incredibly crafty to sneak into the homes of celebs like Orlando Bloom and Megan Fox, but Selena's costars Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Benson are apparently the ones who do the dirty work in "Spring Breakers" - they were photographed wearing masks and wielding a gun and a hammer to film their restaurant robbing scene. Since Selena wasn't around while the robbery went down, Emma wins this round.

The Extreme Things Their Characters Do

Photos from the set of "The Bling Ring" show Emma sitting in the sun to sell stolen goods, so she hasn't been caught filming any crazy scenes so far. Meanwhile Selena's character reportedly drinks, urinates in the street, sings a rap song with explicit lyrics, and dirty dances. There's no telling what else her character might do ! since he r movie is directed by Harmony Korine, the man responsible for "Trash Humpers" - it's basically a movie about creepy people who hump trash cans. Meanwhile the craziest thing "The Bling Ring" director Sofia Coppola has probably ever done is to make Scarlett Johansson's butt almost take up an entire movie screen in "Lost in Translation." So Selena definitely wins this round.

Both characters do end up going to jail for their crimes, but Selena's party girl and her pals find themselves getting in even more trouble when they get bailed out by a drug dealer (James Franco) who looks an awful lot like K-Fed. Once they're in debt to the dealer, he makes them repay him by doing a little dirty work. So Selena gets extra points for taking her life of crime to the next level.

Right now both girls' characters seem to be equally ill-behaved, but of course we'll have to wait until next year when the movies come out to really make a call on which starlet makes the best criminal. So which good girl gone bad are you looking forward to seeing more?
