Fear: Emma Watson was confronted by a stalker while filming new film Noah
She's known for playing a muggle with magical powers who can protect herself and ward off danger with a flick of the wand.
But in real life Emma Watson feels fear like the rest of us, particularly when confronted by a stalker.
The actress was left screaming in terror after she was approached in the woods by a stalker while filming Noah in Oyster Bay, Long Island.
According to The Sun, the 22-year-old was on set when a man sneaked in and approached her.
The actress reportedly recognised the man from hanging around outside her house and not surprisingly his sudden appearance made her scream.
The man then tried to run off but security and a few of the stunt men on set managed to catch up with him and after the police were called he was removed by security.
He was not arrested but he was warned for trespassing.
A source told the newspaper: 'It was really creepy.
'Emma was really shaken up and was given some time to compose herself.'
It's thought that the film has been hard work for the Harry Potter actress so far and the incident has only made it worse.
Stalker: Emma recognised the man from hanging around her house before she saw him on set
The source revealed: 'The movie has been grueling anyway and this left a very sinister feeling hanging over the set.'
This isn't the first time Emma has dealt with a stalker.
When she was just 16, she was stalked by a man in his 20s who gatecrashed classes she was in while studying for her A Levels.
Noah: Russell Crowe is staring alongside Emma Waston in biblical film Noah
She was also assigned a full-time protection officer last year when she received sinister letters while she was studying at Brown University in America.
Beard: Russell has grown a large beard for the role
The Perks of Being a Wallflower star has been filming Noah, based on the bible story of Noah and his famous ark, on which he stowed his family and two of every animal before a massive flood.
Russell Crowe has taken on the task of playing Noah and has grown a large beard for the role.
Describing his facial hair on Twitter, he wrote: 'Currently the status of my beard is "Epic."'
The Australian actor has been seen cycling around New York with his beard on full display twice in so many days.
Noah also stars Sir Anthony Hopkins and is due for release in spring 2014.
