Emma Watson 'excited' for new acting roles
The 22-year-old actress has always been associated with her role as Hermione Granger in the 'Harry Potter' franchise - which ended last year - and she is pleased to show off a new side in latest movie 'The Perks of Being a Wallflower'.
She said: "It's exciting to me that people are seeing me in a different way because it means they're allowing me space to grow and change, and they're having an open mind to the fact there might be other sides of me which they haven't really seen and that haven't been explored yet."
As well as 'The Perks of Being a Wallflower', Emma has shot other movies including 'The End of the World', 'Bling Ring' and 'Noah', and she is really enjoying the challenge of different work.
She said: "It's been a whirlwind of exciting new things, although it's been a bit nerve-racking because I'd been doing the same thing for so long and got so comfortable. So now I'm just happy and excited to be acting and getting such really great opportunities."
