Emma Watson Will Return to Brown University; 10 Other Female Celebs Who Stuck it Out at Ivy League Schools
In a "Harry Potter" press conference last week, Emma Watson finally settled the rumors as to whether she's permanently left Brown, explaining, "I'm going to Oxford in the fall, to study English for a year. Just to explain, I haven't left Brown. I'm still enrolled at Brown, but I'm doing my third year abroad to study at home."

Tyra Banks is one of the newest additions to the celebrity Ivy League club. She's currently taking part in the Owner/President Management Program at Harvard Business School. "In order for my company to grow and be the best, and to reach these women, and to serve them, I needed the best. So I went to the best," explained the Bankable Productions mogul to People.
Ashley Judd is a vocal alumna of the University of Kentucky, but she also went back to school to get a master's degree in public administration at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. She graduated in 2010 -- the same year in wh! ich Meryl Streep was awarded her honorary degree.
Natalie Portman made her Harvard professors proud this year when she took home an Academy Award for Best Actress. The "Black Swan" actress, who graduated in 2003, is the first Harvard College graduate to earn the esteemed acting distinction.

Amanda Peet graduated from Columbia in 1994, where she studied American history. "[The major] just means you didn't have the discipline to declare an actual major," the "2012" actress joked.
Brooke Shields graduated from Princeton in 1987 with honors, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in romance language and literatures. Shields' school activities included a stint with the Princeton Triangle Club and membership in the independent eating club Cap and Gown. She returned to her alma mater in May 2011 as the keynote speaker for Princeton's Class Day ceremony.
Jodie Foster's ties to Ivy League schools run deep. After graduating magna cum laude from Yale in 1985 with a literature degree, she returned to New Haven, Conn. as the Yale Class Day Speaker in 1994. Her alma mater awarded her an honorary Doctor of Fine Arts degree in 1997; she also received an honorary Doctor of Arts from the Uni! versity of Pennsylvania in 2006 as its commencement speaker.
Meryl Streep spent a year at Dartmouth College as a transfer student while studying at Vassar College. She then attended the Yale School of Drama, graduating with a master's degree in fine arts in 1975. In 2010, Streep earned another academic accolade when she received an honorary Doctor of Arts degree from Harvard.
