Emma Watson Comes Back to the Big Screen (Photos)
After studying at Brown University for the past couple of years, Watson is currently spending a year studying abroad at Oxford University, which is located in the same part of England where she grew up.
The 21-year-old actress is also beginning to take on her first post-Harry Potter acting roles. Watson hit the red carpet on Sunday night for the UK premiere of My Week with Marilyn, in which she plays Monroe's wardrobe assistant, Lucy.
How did Watson like playing someone other than Hermione Granger? "I loved it," she said. "It was less pressure, but at the same time it was an interesting role, although it was a small role. I loved the script and loved the story, and I'm very interested in Marilyn, so I really wanted to do it." (via People)
Watson also had nothing but good things to say about her co-star Michelle Williams, who plays the iconic screen siren Marilyn Monroe. "I thought she was wonderful. Such a thing to take on, to play someone who is so iconic and so loved, and I think she just pulled it ! off so w ell. I was so impressed," she told reporters.
You can catch Watson and Williams in My Week with Marilyn on November 23.
