Emma Watson looks every bit of the girl next door in these new stills from My Week With Marilyn . The 21-year-old actress portrays Lucy in the film, a wardrobe assistant who is wooed by assistant director Colin Clark ( Eddie Redmayne ). Emma told the Stylelist about the role, Well I mean, I wasnt playing her, I was playing a different part, but I think I was inspired by who she was as a person, which is someone whos like incredibly alive. I mean, she all of her photographs, all of her images, shes just so alive and in the moment and spontaneous. I mean, she had an awful amount of pain, but when she smiled, when she laughed, her whole face lit up. It came from a real place. Like Just Jared Jr. on FB

Emma Watson has said that her make-up routine has become more "experimental" since she cut her hair last year. "I think it's made me more bold, there's no way to hide when you have short hair," Watson told Stylelist . "You really have to go for it." She explained: "Because I think it's quite boyish, you can kind of take it a bit further the other way. Be a bit sexier because it's kind of not too much, so that was cool. "I've definitely been more experimental with colour and just a bit bolder." The 21-year-old, who started classes at Oxford earlier this month , went on to speak about her upcoming role in My Week with Marilyn , in which she plays a wardrobe assistant. Little Miss Sunshine - Emma Watson is moving From Wizards to Wallflowers

Nobody ever got through high school without being a little aimless and more than a little dramatic. Not so long ago Emma Watson discovered that for herself. Watson was in this leafy suburb of Pittsburgh, a 30-minute drive from the glass-and-steel downtown, filming a movie thats set at Peters Township High School. Every day she arrived at the sprawling campus, with its swim team and banners promoting reading, to experience the youthful rites that, as the Oxfordshire-bred star of the Harry Potter franchise from age 10 to 20, had otherwise eluded her. Oh my goodness, so many firsts, she said, speaking in an excited rush during a break from filming. I did the prom! We all get dressed up and we go in a limo, and get photographs. Its been really fun for me to get to graduate. Eating in the school canteen; all these things that Ive always sort of said to my American friends, Oh, that looks amazing, that looks so fun, Im jealous. And I get to do it for this movie. She takes the role seriously, something which she believes surprised the company. “I’d never do a celebrity endorsement. Lancôme was taken aback by how much input I wanted to have,” she told the November edition of UK magazine Elle. “But I would never just put my name on something. It’s more interesting to have a genuine involvement with a brand, rather than showing up on the day and looking pretty. Also, as much as I do love fashion, I’m an actress first and foremost. Lancôme represents great actresses and that appealed to me.”
