Since we reported last Friday that Emma Watson was a possible frontrunner to star in the movie version of E.L. James' record breaking 'mummy porn' novel 'Fifty Shades Of Grey', the internet has gone into a bit of a frenzy over the prospect of seeing the 'Harry Potter' star as Anastasia Steele, with producers even having to deny the casting rumours.

Fans of the novels are also deeply divided over the possible casting of Watson, 22, as many have strong opinions as to who would make the perfect Ana. With everyone having their own vision of the graduate who enters a Sado-Masochistic relationship with billionaire Christian Grey.

However some Harry Potter fans are a bit non-plussed, not wanting to see the girl who to many is the innocent Hermione subjected to Christian Grey's 'Red Room Of Pain'.

Fans differing opinions were in evidence on Twitter, with @murcielagos Tweeting: Omg pls god let emma watson star in 50 shades of grey PLEASE, while Harry Potter fan @emmadaviex Tweeted: Apparently Emma Watson is the front runner to play Anastasia in 50 Shades of Grey... #pleaseNo #ruinedChildhood if that happens :(

However some, like @SweetSin89 didn't want Emma for the role regardless of her previous employment, they Tweeted: "God I hope Emma Watson doesn't play Ana in the Fifty Shades movie, she's so annoying! #waytoruinafilm".

Producers Dana Brunetti and Michael De Luca have denied the rumours linking Watson to the role, Tweeting that no one has yet been cast.

Yet that hasn't stopped fans of both 'Fifty Shades' and 'Harry Potter' from beng bitterly divided on whether Watson is right for the role.
