Emma Watson Says The Kardashians Are 'Super-Low Culture'

Emma Watson might be in her final year at Brown University, but she can't help watching a bit of trashy TV, all in the name of research!

The 'Harry Potter' actress, who shot to fame as Hermione Granger in the popular boy wizard franchise, has revealed that she thinks the Kim Kardashian and co.'s reality shows are super-low culture.

As part of her studies, Emma admitted that she began watching the E! show Keeping Up With The Kardashians for research purposes and she loved.

According to the Daily Mirror, the 22-year-old got into her new movie role 'Bling Ring' by watching the Kardashian family in action.

Emma insists that she got immersed in her character by watching a ton of reality television.

I was doing an English course so I would go from reading Virginia Woolf to Kim Kardashian. I kind of loved it that mix of super-high and super-low culture," she said.

Ouch. That's got to hurt.

Emma has been trying lots of new things recently, and she's even tried her hand at pole-dancing which the star has found totally liberating.

"Like on all film sets, there's often so much time spent doing nothing," a source told The Sun.

"One of the other actresses on the set has been pole-dancing as a sport for a while and Emma decided to give it a go as well. She's amazed with the results because it has toned up her body so well. She never thought she would enjoy it but she finds it quite liberating."
