Emma Watson Defends Kristen Stewart: 'Everyone Makes Mistakes'
The actress stands up for her friend in light of last summer's scandal
It was the biggest scandal of the summer: Kristen Stewart cheats on Robert Pattinson with her Snow White and The Huntsman director Rupert Sanders. While some Twihards are still not over it, fellow actress Emma Watson seems to sympathize with Stewart.
As quoted by The Huffington Post, Watson, who co-starred with Robert Pattinson in Harry Potter, shared her thoughts on the matter with Vanity Fair Italia: I thought that the media picked on her in a very horrible way.
Watson continued, Everyone makes mistakes, everyone. Its not fair to consider them matters of public interest."
The Perks of Being a Wallflower star noted that being in a relationship fans feel so connected to certainly played a part in the public outcry, On one hand, I can understand why it happened: people felt really involved in her relationship with Robert Pattinson.
The actress gave the pair credit saying, Its also true that they both have done everything in their power to keep their relationship as far from the public eye as possible.
Watson, like Stewart, is 22-years-old but told Glamour that having a normal life outside the entertainment industry keeps her sane. As we reported, the two leading ladies, along with Jennifer Lawrence, had a "really cool bonding moment" regarding their shared franchise experiences back in November.
